Penelope's 1st Year

Happy 1 month to our Sweet Pea! We love you Miss Penelope Lee 

From Penelope:

I enjoy nap time with mommy or pretending I'm a MiG-28 with Daddy.

I dislike when I get the hiccumucks or I realize I need a diaper change.

I can hold my head up and focus.

I know my parent's voices.

I am not a morning person but will snuggle to get through it.

I like baths so much I go to the bathroom right after so I can take another!

Happy 2 months to our Sweet Pea! 

From Penelope:

I'm starting to enjoy tummy time along with all of my other mats. 

I love Mr.Star, but only for a while.

Daddy feeds me from a bottle occasionally. 

I have many chins and many rolls but people love em!

I now have several smiles and make noises.

My eyes light up when someone sticks their tongue out.

My hair is so long it touches my neck.

When I get frightened I stick my arms out at a T.

I despise bumps in the car.

I am definitely a morning and afternoon person.

(2 months check up Monday!)

Happy 3 months (and a day) to our Penelope Lee#lifehappens

From Penelope:

It has been a super busy month for me! 

I'm no longer a nugget I'm officially a chicken tender!

I'm pre teething! 

I can grab things and put then in my mouth. 

I drool on everything in sight, so much so I've gained a new accessory they call a bib.

I'm growing so fast.

My feet now touch the ground in my bouncy. I'm almost even too long for my changing station.

Mom has packed up two rounds of clothes and we are now on size 2 in diapers.

I learned how to giggle and still love to smile.

I found my voice and am learning how to use it.

If my eyebrows could talk they'd tell you everything! 

I've got my quarter roll down and am working on my half!

I've got the neck thing down and prefer to sit up then to lay down!

Happy 4 months to Miss Penelope Lee!

From Penelope:

I love to put anything and everything in my mouth! 

I enjoy yelling at the top of my lungs starting early in the morning.

In my free time I drool on everything and watch snowboarding videos with daddy when we are not playing race car games.

I can roll over on the floor but don't really care about it. 

Honestly I'm practicing being up on all fours and preparing to crawl. 

I have more rolls than a bakery.

I love to smile, just not at the phone. 

You can see my teeth wanting to come through but I'm still happy!

Life is good.

Happy 5 months (and 3 days) to Miss Penelope Lee #BBE #Mysweetspot

From Penelope:

I'm on a roll friends! I'm not talking about my thighs either!! I'm moving all over the place! 

I'm working on my straddles and pointing my toes.

I now grab my toes all the time, they're like an extra pair of thumbs. 

Dad has been working on my stunting and counts.

We also fly around the house really fast. ✈

He's a blast.

I got to hear a really loud car engine with me me and I cried like the baby I am. (Still love em jus not ready for the big ones yet.)

I went from three chins to two chins.

Anything and everything I can put in my mouth is now fair game.

Mommy and Daddy are gonna let me try a California avocado and a banana as soon as I sit up "more independently."

I love to sing and draw attention to myself in public! What can I say? I love the crowds!

Car rides are okay now. Apparently I have no choice if I want to survive in this family.

I cut a tooth this Sunday (mom is freaking out).

All is well! Hoping to start crawling AFTER the parental units close on our new home!

They call me, "curious" for that I am! 

Anything and everything on the floor is fair game as far as I'm concerned. Why else would it be there?

My mouth is making more and more noises. One of which is Da Da Da Daaaa 

I have so much fun playing in the mirrors with daddy. 

It makes me giggle and my eyes light up.

I love the playing on snap chat when mom let's me have access to the portal.

Lately we've been working on; my 180 for next snow season , my cheer tosses and my rewinds. I love catching air!

Mommy only watches sometimes, it still makes her nervous! 

I want to crawl SOON! I have the idea and the concept I just haven't put it all together YET. ⏳

However, I'm doing awesome with my wave! Look out Miss America here I come. 

I have two bottom teeth, mommy calls them, "razor blades".

I ate a California avocado, I think I liked it. 

The last few weeks have been crazy busy for me! 

All this rolling around, hanging out in the jogger, concerts , camping ⛺and so much swimming.

I've been playing with these big, brown boxes! I love em! 

I did recently discover I hate the sound of the boxing tape! Yikes! I hear Moving Day is just around the corner though!

Happy 7 months to this lil Turkey pot pie!

We are all moved in to the new place! I'm getting used to the hardwood floor. I should have my calluses in no time! I'm tough what can I say? I'm so tough I've kept my black eye for weeks now. The Dr says, "it's ok."

I love to giggle, roll around and am now allowed pet the kitty with strict supervision. 

I have tried so many new foods lately; fresh bananas, apples, carrots, avocado, peaches and blue berries my new fav. No worries I still love my ninnies and nurse like all the time.

Daddy and Mommy are making me my very own gym! (I think mommy is more excited than anyone!) In the mean time I've been working on my stretches and pointing my tootsies. Mom taught me how to siren (woo woo woooo). I'm ready for football season. I hear it's going to be louder this season.

I can't wait to see what I can get into next.#Rollingandinchingeverywhere. I must admit though, I get so frustrated trying to get this body of mine to do what I want. I tell ya what though, soon enough I'll put it all together and it'll be game over! (Mom and dad are in no hurry for me to crawl).

My daddy time is probably my all time favorite. He let's me play with all the cool stuff; the cat, x box controls, the keyboard, nature and pretty much anything I can grab!

Our 1st camping trip was a success. Now we are getting ready for our BIG one! #lookoutSequoia

My passport also came in the mail! I'm ready to see the world friends! ✈⛵

Wish me luck this weekend! I'll be home alone with Daddy for the first time! I've never been away from mom for more than 5 hours but I know he'll do wonderful and we'll have a blast!

HAPPY 8 MONTHS [and 2 days] to Miss Thang

I've been eating EVERYTHING! The 3 day rule is out the window! Get in my belly! Nom nom 

(Yes, I'm still loving my mommy juice!) 

I've been on the go as some of you already know. We camped and hiked Yosemite for labor day weekend! Daddy is so strong he carried me in the ergo for 14 miles in 90°+ weather. The nights got down to 20° but I hung in there and stayed close to the fire in my sleeping bag! All of our friends were super impressed on how well I did.⛺

My new tricks are waving and handing out 5's like I'm at the arcade. The Parental units make such a big deal about it I jus keep on doing it.

I've crawled forward a couple of times. Nothing official. Calm down. I go in reverse like all the time. I jus can't seem to find 1st yet. I'll figure it though. I say, "da da, ma ma and Iiiye (Hi)." The rest of the time I just hoot and holler.

Pearl and I are becoming so close. We enjoy our daily cat naps and lounging around on the floor. We've even been sharing toys and spaces. We're practically BFF'S.

My new favorite toys are: kleenex packages, hair brushes, hangers, the coconut oil jar, remotes, cell phones, my new tablet and TP rolls.

We're getting ready for our big trip to NY and Canada!! ✈ I get to be a flower girl!I'm sure it'll be super entertaining for all!

Happy 9 months to this lil Cupcake

"Aye!!!" Canada and NY was fab-ulous! I found first gear a few days before we left the states. Now I can crawl super fast in all directions!!!! ⚠

For my first out of state trip, the rents said,"she did amazing." I got to sit in the "baby section" with all my new friends. Thank you Southwest for open seating flights✈. I even got my very own seat a couple of times. It was great to spread out and put my toys everywhere. I got to ride in my first party bus AND limo! I loved the lights and music . It got pretty loud so daddy covered my ears.

I got to be the flower girl at my Papa Saint's wedding. It was so much fun! I waved at EVERY single person I came into contact with. I also got my pictures made at gorgeous Canadian vineyards!!

I got to try sooo many new foods while I was on vacation. I have yet to find anything I don't like. I eat everything! Heck I'll even eat cat food. Wet, dry it don't matter! Especially since I cut my top two teeth the last day of our trip!!

I hear the holidays are coming! Which means tons of parties and playdates (from what I understand!) Mom says,"If it's not on the calendar it's not happening!"

In the meantime we will cheer on our favorite sports teams⚾ ❤, enjoy the great outdoors and cherish times with friends and family!

Happy 10 Months(and 3 days) to this cute lil Monster!

Incase you haven't heard I'm in to EVERYTHING! I clap after everything I do, even if it was the wrong thing to do. I enjoy walking around the furniture, pulling myself up in front of the mirrors and dancing with the bar stools. In my spare time I get into the Xbox games, cat toys, laundry, mommy's getting ready stuff and anything I'm not suppose to! My new favorite is pulling out lots of wipes at a time or escaping while getting a new diaper on!!  #nakeybootay Mommy says, "it's like wrestling an alligator!" (Whatever that means). I find it more entertaining this way and it really keeps my parental units on the move! I'm as fast as lightening! ⚡

I have 5 teeth and 2 more on the way! I'm babbling more and more. I can say, "Momma, Dadda, hiii and heyyyy!" Daddy has turned my toy box into an ✈airplane/racecar and I freaking love it!!! We cruise around all over the house! Daddy and I have been getting ready for ski/board season. Mommy can hear us working on my 180° and 360° (she pretends not to).❄

I'm Looking forward to "gobblin' till I'm wobblin" this Thursday!

Happy 11 months (and 4 days) to Miss thang!

From Penelope:

My babbling is turning into actual words!!! "Kitty" is my new favorite word right now! I'm also working on saying, "buzz" (he's my favorite toy right now besides my tyke coupe.) I now have 6 teeth and more coming!! I'm so excited for my 1st Christmas. I'm not really sure what's going on but I'm enjoying peeling off the labels on all the presents! 

I been dancing a lot lately. I've found some rhythm and love to shake it!!! Missy Elliot WTF is my current fav! I've also began growling and have recently discovered there is different volumes my voice can reach! I've been on a lot of play dates lately and am enjoying making new friends around the great divide. 

I've been walking with assistance everywhere, it's only a matter of time til I'm walking alone. Mom's in no hurry but dad and I practice all the time. In less than a month I'll be ONE O*M*G*!
