Hiking Murphy's Gate to Robbie Pt Trail to Western State Trail

I woke up with the intentions of hiking new trail systems and exploring a new trailhead! #Missioncompletion

We started at Murphy's Gate at the top of the Canyon on the Auburn side.
Then took Robbie Pt Trail to Western State Trail.

We found an old burnt down house in the middle of nowhere off of Robbie Pt Trail! Some parts of the foundation were covered in moss! I love everything about moss. Especially when it's so vibrant and soft!

I was super excited when we realized I wasn't so geographically challenged after all! Once we got on Western State Trail I knew that I knew which way to go to get to one of my favorite waterfalls in the canyon. Andrew had me second guessing myself but after about a mile in, we knew I was right! Low and behold there was one of my landmarks, to confirm I was on the right trail heading the right direction!

Revisiting old spots while finding new ones!

Always exploring!

It's things and days like this that are important to me, to us and to her!

Christmas Morning 2016

Hanging out with Aunt Alyssa as she opens her new bike and shelves!

I'm not going to lie, putting up the 7ft trampoline in the formal dining room was the best decision we've made yet!

She absolutely love it!

Penelope goes from Nusery to Toddler Room!

When I asked her if she like her new room, she said, "It's AWESOME!"

I just couldn't let the Tiffany theme go just yet! She's now allowed to actually go in her room and play!

Sound asleep in her big girl bed in her big girl room!

Penelope's 1st Snowboard Adventure @ Kirkwood Mountain

Ready for ANYTHING!!!

So Kombucha is my new found love and replacement for Red bulls. The lavender one is my go to!

I see you Mountains

Creepin on the little one...

Since someone was woken up in the wee hours, a nap was much needed before trying out her new shred stick! This gave Andrew plenty of time to get some runs in while we chilled at the base!

Awake and ready!

After being pulled by her rope tow for a while at the base, Andrew decided he was going to hold her on his lap while he went down a Green/Blue. (Without his poles of course!)

However, when he got to the lift he was informed this was not an option. My heart sank I didn't know what to think or what was going to happen now!??! Next thing I know, there goes my baby with her board, not even 2 years old going on her 1st lift ride and run with Daddy down the Mountain.

"First lift ride up! Somebody wasn't ready for the brisk wind in her face. She did great down the Graduation run with a little help!" -Andrew

Waiting patiently at the bottom! I was able to take a video however, it didn't save. But that's ok some memories are made just for me! #BeingaMother

His best look yet! He's such an amazing father!

I couldn't be more proud of my lil baby shredder! She made it all the way down with a little help from Daddy!

So much Happiness and so much love.
These are the moments I live for!
