Our morning was off to a late start! Which means WE BRUNCH!
This kid and her "Cheers!" I see a lot of toasts and speeches in her future!
After brunch we got ready for the day and headed to the nearby park 15 minutes away.

We started off with a nice little jog around the lake.
Followed by some fun on the swings and of course "big slide" time!
The rest... is well,
A mother just trying to find healthier new vices and ways of dealing with stress management. After a week of rain and recovering from the holidays, I just felt like running. I hadn't ran since like October. But I tell you as soon as my feet hit the concrete I just went. I pushed Penelope in the jogger (all 28 lbs of her) up and down the hills in ALT. Before I knew it I was almost to our old neighbor's house.
Nothing like looking down at your phone and realizing how far you've come only to remember you have to leave to work the front desk at the gym in less than 1.5 hours. Talk about a push.
I literally had to text Andrew in the middle of Penelope's melt down to ask him to pray for me that we could make it back in time without having to be picked up!
Once we got home I had time to shower, make a salad and run out the door. I got to work right as my shift started.
That elevation tho!!! Wow.
